Great closeup. That flash really has to scare the poop out of them for a second? I would love another photo about a second later, you may see just a belly and hooves!

unfortunately where I am at there are tons of people, I'm not sure even the middle of the woods would be safe around here.

I live in the suburbs of Seattle Covington/Maple VAlley area.  I would love to set a few up in the area to find out the quality of critters that are running around here in the Burbs, but am fearful of someone finding it and ripping it off.

Love the pics.  I don't think you can guess bear size very well with this shot, and shadows etc.  Cool that you got him on film.  I'm assuming this is a different one than yours.
