Have you hunted off Lynch RD by the Taylor Station??
« on: October 25, 2011, 08:36:24 PM »
Have you ever seen any bucks or got a buck off of Lynch RD down there by the Lynch Creek Forest out behing the Taylor Station in Shelton... It's the exit just past  Little Creek Casino... I went there today and found out it's open for hunting and seen a Big ole' deer but couldn't put horns on it. It was with a smaller doe possibly a yearling but I just couldnt put spikes on it...

I grew up hunting that area and live just down the road now. There are a lot of deer and bucks grow big there, but its firearm restriction area and a lot of walk in so not too many people hunt it. Definitely worth putting some time into that area.

There's a nice 3x4 with a drop tine down the powerline run not far from there.  Or so I'm told.  ;)

That's not a drop thats a doe with some sticks tied to her ears. :dunno: This is a firearm restricted area be careful, game wardens live out there. There is a ton of deer out there walk in behind any gate and you should be able to put horns on something.
