Damn....  this is too bad, hope the driver is ok, they need to relocate more of those bulls.  Right where I hunt!

Too bad nice looking bull.  Will they let the fish and wildlife take it and have it mounted or will they just throw it in a hole like i have seen them do many times around here?

Damn, to bad...  Gorgeous bull!

Looks like the car got off easy, hope the driver was ok....

I will gladly take that rack off WDFW hands and hang them on my wall in memorial of such a great beast....   :chuckle:
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

I think anyone whose car has been totaled by an elk should get to keep it.

Well coastal if the thread wasn't locked these pics couldve went there.  I think I need to get a rez rider and go that way to good idea.  Don't waste bullets or energy walking andkeep the whole elk.

I don't think there was any real lack of respect. Big bull or not, it's a roadkill and they did what they needed to do to take care of it and get it out of the way. I'm sure none of them were thinking "this piece of crap. I think I'll push its face in the dirt". It's a shame to lose such a nice animal to a car though, for sure.
