Hey Guys,

Well it took me a few days but I have a few pics and one of the videos of a couple nice bulls we ran into during the hunt. As stated in a previous thread, I wanted to take her with my Bow but the terrain and the brushiness just warranted the rifle. It took us 7 hours to get her off the mountain after the shot and that was by a old skid that we managed to get the jeep down to. I hate to think how long it would have taken if she would have ran 100 yeards down a hill somewhere or farther! Anyway, Thanks again to you guys that offered your assistance and help in guiding me where to go. You guys are also part of the success whether you know it or not. Thanks to my hunting partner and Uncle Ed (Fast Eddie) for accompanying me on this trip. Just a few pics and a short video. Enjoy!

Congrats!  Did IEP let you take quads in on their roads or did they keep it closed down?

No. it was closed down. We got to take our truck in to recover the moose and that was about it. That was an agreement with the WDFW and IEP. Thank god for that or it would have been a couple of day job to get her out. The quad you see in the picture was from our uncle who had just come over from hunting in Idaho where he could use his quad. But here it never left the trailer. We biked in on Mountain bikes.

Brian.  Congrats to you!!   I grew up on that mountain and I wouldn't even want to pack out a whitetail or and elk let alone a moose.  Did you just contact IEP and WDFW to work out an arraingement.  With that being my back yard basically that is where I have been putting in for my moose and want to know what to do if/when i get drawn and how to get it out of there without killing me and my boys
