I have been seeing this off and on for about a month now. Very slow to load pages, and loosing connection to the server, 404 errors, and timeouts.

Matthew was up in the am after midnight trying to find the problem. I am still getting high usage warnings from the server so he hasn't found the exact problem yet. Mondays are busy days so we all will have to be patient with the site today again. It's going to be an on and off situation until Matthew can locate the problem.

Matthew repaired a database table and reset some log files, that is the reason everyone had to login again. Sorry for the hassle, we are hoping this helps to resolve the issues that have cropped up during the last few weeks.

For about the last Week the site has been extremely slow and I constantly get this message:

Connection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

The last time I saw this was about 10 minutes ago.

All other websites are working fine.

Same here. Some time I cant even get to the forum page.

Yep, still something wrong Dale, its going on a week now that its been locking up or dropping out.

Just got dumped again and took a while to get reconnected

About 75% of the time I can not get to forums page.  About 50% of the time when I try to reply I get a time out and thus the post is not posted.

My computer now tells me my March 2013 most popular site visited is "Connection Lost".  I assume you are aware of the problem.  But, when it becomes my most visited site I think it's more than a problem and/or a bug.

Though it is a good visial for me that I spend way too much time on Hunting-Washington.  Time to re-evaluate my priorities I guess.
