I had a big laugh. It took ten minutes to post yeah that extremely slow, then wadu had posted so I got the error, someone else posted.  So then I reposted, 10 minutes later, my morning break done.   Lol

The info is giving the tech guy clues as to what to look for, he was on it today! But hard to nail down as it comes and goes.

I too have been having trouble loading Hunting Washington pages and posting.  It is very slow and sometimes doesn't load all the way.  This is the only site I have this problem on.

FYI - The way I understand it, we are being bombarded with massive traffic at times. The tech guy asked me if I pissed anyone off lately? LOL

We have already increased the firewall, if we increase it too much then members will have trouble accessing the forum, so we are identifying other options to block unwanted traffic. I do not know how long this will take to resolve, but it is being worked on.

Animal rights activist, tree huggers, would be my guess.

They watch this form they see what we’re talking about and what we wanna do.

Important notice:

Several changes have been implemented, which should make things:
a.) load faster in general (especially on modern devices/browsers),
b.) be more resilient against rogue behavior.

However, one two of the newly implemented security measures might lead to so called 'false positives' occurring in rare cases - meaning legitimate traffic may temporarily be blocked under certain conditions. If you experience problems or error messages when using the forum under normal conditions, please report the exact error message/code/what you're seeing and it's nice if you can include a description of exactly what you were doing when it occurred plus include the "page created" information from the bottom of the page. Then I can tweak the configuration a bit further to prevent false positives, should it be needed/be the cause of the problem. Sometimes, you may get an error page that only displays a description of the problem; these typically include a 3-digit error code in the title bar of your browser/the tab. Thanks. :)

-edit 05:23AM- Some extra changes have been implemented to the configuration to reduce false positives on loading Media and some pages with large URI's.
-edit-05:59AM- Configurations were updated, this caused a brief downtime for a couple of minutes; so no need to report that one. :) Thanks!

Just started a new thread and it not showing in the recents column. This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed this.

I can see it there just fine but it won’t show up on the recent topics page. Political board stuff doesn’t show on the recent topics page. If someone replies to the topic it will show under “show new replies to your posts”

Having an issue posting pictures from my iPhone. Previously, I would click on the picture I wanted to add after hitting add attachments, and on the bottom of the screen I could choose the size. That’s no longer there. I don’t know how to resize them to be the right size without that option.
Is it something on my end on the phone or?
