Going to try a new area in Idaho (priest lake)

Well we are going to try some new area in northern Idaho this year west of priest lake anyone ever hunted this area before ? Im not looking for honey holes just some good stories and pics.

havent been up there for a while, but there used to be allot of whities running around, its thick country. good luck :tup:

Alot of whities running around. And it is very thick. Have had the most luck down in the river bottoms or way up high. Mid level country is just to thick. Spent most of my time north of Nordman... good luck.

Oh and there are a few muleys. If you see a muley doe wait for the buck. Busted a nice 160 class muley a few years ago up there that was following a doe.

Be careful, its very easy to pass back over into Washington if your not familiar with the area up there.  Make sure you know where your at.

Super thick country.  Deer numbers are way down from what they use to be just a few years ago.  Can be a hard hunt.  I would hunt futher south.  Like around Orofino.  Good luck.
