Yeah, I caught a pic of Colock sneaking around trying to scare off hunters in the colockum and did you see the chart he put out trying to show that bigfoot is our problem out here! :yike:  He is sneaky and I know he is working with bigfoot trying to keep people out of the colockum.

So I basically got owned by Plateau on this one.  Other than the fact Plateau can't tell the difference between a Red Deer and an elk.   :chuckle:

So I have to ask. What exactly is the ideal bull to cow ratio for red deer?  :chuckle:

:yike:  If it's roaming the woods in the fall time then why worry if it's black, muley, white or red?  If it's a deer it's going down!  I'll worry about it's ethnicity later when I'm comparing the difference in taste! :chuckle: :chuckle:

So I have to ask. What exactly is the ideal bull to cow ratio for red deer?  :chuckle:

Wwwhhaaaaa.....Why would you ask him that!   :dunno:  Now there's going to be a couple of pages of him rambling on and on and on and on about statistics, data, studies and numbers and we'll never get to the end of it before bedtime! :lol4: :lol4: :lol4: :lol4:

Is a true spike season for red deer a good idea? What about 3 pt or better? Permit only on north facing slopes on even numbered days and south facing on odd numbered days. Just curious.  :chuckle:

Wait a minute you're skipping a few steps.  We haven't done the fly over yet to determine the count of all the red deer and we haven't "guesstimated" with our "formula" the correct ratio of bucks to doe.  It's fall, we have to wait until spring to determine the herd count and then apply the "formula" for next years season establishment.

Once that's been done then we have to consider the ratio of predatation and the amount the Tribes might harvest and then we can start talking about spike, special tag or point minimum.  Seasons and weapon choice, oh man don't even get me started! :bash: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Crap you are right, what the hell was I thinking? Is there a special "red deer helicopter" needed for the spring flyover and another to calculate how many the natives will recklessly shoot out of the front yards of the white liars?

Maybe you can still present it but, in 300 words or less? :chuckle:  And Run has a good point you must've had to many of those fruity drinks to agree with someone from the BMM. :chuckle:
