I believe that qualifies as first degree aggravated assault in this state and the shooter will end up doing time and losing firearms privileges.  You also can't claim self defense on a car prowl unless you are in the car and they present a credible threat to life and limb.  Castle doctrine also does not apply to laying in wait in your Camo while overwatching your bait car. ***

I watched two mexican illegal types looking into my rig and checking the doors, a while back at crab creek. only problem i heard the car coming, was coyote calling so moved in closer and sat there in full camo i mean face gloves the works, with my assaut rifle, and was waiting when they arrived, they did nothing and neither did i. always wondered what i woulda done if they broke in. i leave nothing of value in my rig and i make it clear there is nothing to steal, guess that was lucky for me and them. they never ever knew i was there 50 yards.

A friend of mine who fishes the Toutle and Cowlitz alot leaves a note on his seat stating that there is nothing of value in his rig, leaves his glove box open and places all the glove box contents on the seat in plain view. He keeps his vehicle registration with him when he is off fishing.  It seems to hve worked so far, he hasn't gotten broken into but his buddy who keeps leaving his wllet in the glovebox has been hit 4 times while parked next to him.

I keep a 6 gallon gas can in my shed for the lawn mower and such. A few years back it kept getting empty real fast. I filled it with diesel just to see what would happen. After a weekend or two it was about empty. So I used what was left to start a burn pile and filled it up with gas again. It hasnt ever gone empty overly fast since. Maybe the diesel patched the leak. 

I'm guessing some neigbor learned a lesson the hard way.

its a tweekers paradise out there. 

    one year my truck's radiator was acting pretty iffy so I carried water in a five gallon gas can and left it sitting in the bed in case of emergency. I was hunting one of the walk ins off johnson creek and when I returned my gas can full of water was missing.  on the way way back to lacey I saw some fellows broke down on the side of the road, and one was holding my gas can, while sniffing it and looking very puzzled. I turned around and passed them again while doing the simpson "HA HA" laugh and flipping them the bird.

Score one for the good guys!

i am going out that way in the morning and Saturday also. i will keep everyone posted.this post reminded me to empty out my car of everything of any value.  i hate tweakers. unfortunately i probably know a few of these turd stealing stuff.  thats life in the country ghetto

Went to nasell to watch grand daughter play volleyball and when we came out my boys new 4 wheel was half out of the truck so it;s happening all over.

I love the Idea of leaving a gas can filled with water or some crap gas in the truck.  I'm going to give that one a try!  I just hope that I remember not to  use it myself!
