My guess is that he hauls the boat in and out of the water with it... :dunno:

I will explain;

This man is relaxing on a nice sunny day, trolling his favorite water with a wheel barrow in his aluminum boat.

I wish I was doing the exact same thing.

Iceman you crack me up. hahahaha

He uses it to move the boat. I had a simular setup, atatched to the boat, just roll it over and it will balance with minimum lift and roll very easy.

My Uncle Howard needed a lawn mower to remove scales from the lunchers he caught and a beef butcher arrangement to dress out his catch. I would guess this guy has the same luck.

He is a big guy. And the boat bow tips up to high when he is by himself. He hauls all his gear from the parking area to thee boat puts it in and uses the wheel barrow to bring the nose down. makes sense to me.

HAHAHA This reminds me of 2 yrs ago. My step dad, mom and I went to the family cabin on Sullivan lake in mid november to fix the chimney. FS wouldn't issue another lease to us til it got fixed by the end of the year. 2 other family members dropped the ball over the summer and never fixed it so nothing like last minute. Anyways, we took up my gramps old 14 ft v-hull aluminum boat. We had 35bricks, 3 bags of mortar, pancake air compressor, 32' extension ladder, electrical cords, buckets, alot of hand tools etc. all in this boat probably 400 lbs. of stuff in this boat with out someone in it yet. It was a pretty cold and windy day to be doing this but it had to get done. My step dad took off from the launch headed for the cabin and the sides of the boat were just a couple inches above the water. Some water was coming in from the choppy water as he went to the cabin. I think he was pretty happy to make it across in one piece. The cabin is a boat in or walk in only. My mom took a couple pics i'll see if she can email me a couple and i'll post em.

My guess;
he told the wife he was going to help a friend and needed the boat and trailer to haul the wheelbarrow.  Assuming he does not drive a pick up he had to keep it in the boat :chuckle:

Looks like a fairly heavy boat to be lifting and dragging for one person.  With a wheel attached to the bow deck a person could easily pull it or push a ways.

I looked into my Uncle Howard's diary. He needed a wheel borrow to transport his catch. No one ever caught as many or as big fish as Uncle Howard. As he said, "If I caught vun I caught a million."
