It started last year in the Tucannon on my late hunt...
Then turkey season came, too cold and wet, too much snow and no turkeys(no pics either)
Then came archery elk. I think it pissed rain hard for 36+ hours. No elk....no pics as I didn't want to drown my camera.
Then general deer in the Blues...spent all of opening weekend socked in in fog. Thats no dang good when you're trying to glass up bedded bucks.
Decided to try and make a go of it last saturday in the mountains for a blacktail... Ugg....
It was a beautiful day in the mountains but we didn't see anything. Got the legs burning a little and saw the first snowstorms of the year for me. Great day to be outdoors and I'm not complaining at all!!
