I heard a lot of gates are closed due to logging and need help finding my way in this unit. This is a new area to me and could use some help. Again not looking for honey holes just some help getting in and maybe some good areas to scout

All depends on which end you are hunting, 560 is huge..
I hunt the trout lake side...

Yesterday's thread didn't work so now you are trying again? There are tons of FS roads in 560 that don't get locked. You can access a lot of the unit from these. You can drive from highway 12 all the way to trout lake, and hundreds of miles in between. They are on most maps.

As stated its huge unit. There are locked gates, but still ton of access. You should have no problem getting into area to hunt. What you will also find is about 3/4 of the state hunting it also. @
Good luck, I hunt near there during archery and the elk are there, just need to put on few miles

I rarely hunt there, but what is easy for me from where I'm leaving from is up Kalama River road off of I-5. Takes you right up into it, use to hunt deer up there with my dad when I was a kid back when it was the Marble Unit, lots of Elk with plenty of people as well.

Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.

i hunt that unit also, it is huge, in the area we hunt there are a lot of roads that have been closed with a loader years ago. find one and walk it back a ways, then go up or down (steep area) good luck.
