my eurasian wigeon

So I got this guy my first year my third time duck hunting, only been duck hunting for 2 years , I couldnt of got any luckier so i had to mount him

If you can't play with the big dogs then STAY on the porch.

Thats horrible im sorry hear that, but 2 erusasian wigeons!! thats amazing hopefully you get 3 and get a mount, you would be surpized what they can fix with taxidermy too so just save the bird for the hell of it and maybe they can fix it next time.

I got one my first year duck hunting here in Washington... new it was a widgeon, just thought it was a little weird, and of course plucked it right away... DOH!  Haven't gotten another that I wanted to mount.. next nice one will be tho.  Nice looking mount!

Nice mount.  I see a lot of eurasions each year when I am out scouting, but typically don't get very many shots at them during the season.  Usually pick up 1-2 a year and hope they aren't to shot up.
