On your situation, even though the low Talley LW rings will take up to a 44mm objective, with the barrel contour you're planning, it's going to require the medium rings.

so i ended up going with Burris fullfield 3-9x40 read a lot of reviews and went with it

Good glass.... nice scope.  It'll serve you well.
