Are you sure that isn't a mulie that floated the river from the Cascade Crest before you shot him?  :chuckle: Congrats on a fine buck
Yes...I've heard of them heading south on the pacific crest, hanging a hard left into the lewis river drainage, catching a ride on a log down the river, through a power canal, 3 power houses and to the mouth where it dog paddled down the columbia to the Julia Butler refuge to cross breed with some columbia whitetails then making his way to naselle. Just a thought :chuckle:

That buck was taken in shelton, its just a 2x3. The third point is 1 inch long thats all. It's a true monster.

This is why blacktails don't need to score 130" to be big.

 :yeah:

Its not too uncommon around here for old bucks to regress back to giant 2 points. I am told it was actually 23 1/4  :chuckle:

Definitely a true giant, can't imagine him stepping out of the reprod and into my scope

Dang good looking buck for sure.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

I seen a giant 2x2 swim across the middle fork of the satsop a few days ago that was damn identical to this bucks size. Big forks with tiny crabby points off the back tines making it technically a 3x3
