Its very possible he floated...maybe wdfw is transplanting mule deer over here now...they never seem to make much sense so it wouldnt suprise me...or possibly it was a mule deer  with a blacktail halloween costume? :dunno:      :chuckle:

Yes...I've heard of them heading south on the pacific crest, hanging a hard left into the lewis river drainage, catching a ride on a log down the river, through a power canal, 3 power houses and to the mouth where it dog paddled down the columbia to the Julia Butler refuge to cross breed with some columbia whitetails then making his way to naselle. Just a thought :chuckle:

That buck was taken in shelton, its just a 2x3. The third point is 1 inch long thats all. It's a true monster.

Its not too uncommon around here for old bucks to regress back to giant 2 points. I am told it was actually 23 1/4  :chuckle:

Definitely a true giant, can't imagine him stepping out of the reprod and into my scope

I seen a giant 2x2 swim across the middle fork of the satsop a few days ago that was damn identical to this bucks size. Big forks with tiny crabby points off the back tines making it technically a 3x3

i know where a 5x4 blacktail is thats about 23" wide..can you take a rain check for the pics till next sept/oct?  :chuckle: i seen him in elk season  :bash: if i would have had a archery deer tag id have pics of him now he was at 45yds  :bash:
