TRADITIONS CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!
« on: November 16, 2011, 09:51:19 PM »
If anyone is looking into a traditions muzzle loader i would highly advise everyone not to buy one. The gun shoots straight but it doesn't shoot consistently and to top it off the customer service from this company sucks. I've been on the phone the last 3 weeks 4 or 5 times with traditions. I have the Traditions NW Mag and am having the problem everyone is having where the cap does not pop when the hammer strikes it. I've used the magnum musket caps, i've taken out the antagonist spring, i've even changed to the NO.11 and tried that but nothing is working. Traditions said they were sending me out a new trigger assembly, they only sent a trigger. It was the exact same trigger that was in the gun. Then i called back they said were sending out a "WHOLE NEW" assembly, 2 weeks later i have received nothing. I called monday and they said that they won't be able to send me it out this week because they're waiting for some to get in stock. I was upset that they couldn't notify me sooner that it wasn't going to ship out. I was kinda hoping i'd have a new assembly for late muzzle. I will be sending this POS gun in after the late season!!!!!
Ruger brought back the .220, i just shoot it.

Ditto...........kind of like like measure twice....cut once.  Either brand....both are tried and true.

Take it back to where you bought it and demand your money back or trade it in for what you paid for it on a T/C.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............
