I am heading out with my 8 year old son tomorrow after he gets out of school. He is really excited to go with for a week long trip. Not sure if he is more excited to miss school next week.    Almost have everything packed. Kinda funny how much more stuff you have to bring when you take your kids with you on a long trip. But we should have a great time together!  He has been hunting with me since he was three years old. The bad part is the early season I told him that I would give him a dollar for every deer he spotted and he ended up with over $20. He thinks I am going to do the same thing this trip. I don't think I could even afford the trip If i had to do that.  A lot more deer where we are going.

I'm hunting 250.   There isn't any deer there but hope to see at least one.

I just looked and it says it opens on the 21st, in the mule deer units, and if my calendar is correct, the 21st is Monday.

Yup...bought it in 2008. Lots of deer, turkeys etc...
