Well, it took both seasons to get it done but we both got our margerat bulls. At the beginning of the season we dreamt about getting a couple wall hangers out of this unit but there was no way we could pass up either one of these bulls. I killed this first one in the early season and my brother killed the other one this morning.

Congrats to the both of you, and that is one funky bull you got there.  Got a stronger than average 3rd on the 5 pt side, and just 3 on its right side, thats the biggest 3 pt I've seen.  I would have liked to find his shed, I like unusual antlers.
When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.

How was the hunt? I spent a little time in that unit this year, the amount of bull rubs was incredible, I would imagine that area is awesome to be in during september, and its perfect habitat for archery hunting rutted up bulls.

The hunt in there was pretty awesome in September. We only got 3 and a half days to hunt it due to fire danger closure. The first two days of season were pretty unproductive, but the last day and a half were pretty awesome. I wish we would have had the whole last week, but can't complaine about what we ended up with.

Nice work. I am going to be going for the multi tag every year from now on I think. Back home you get to hunt all seasons with no special tag. So.....from my beginings of hunting....being able to hunt through all the seasons is not only a statisticle advantage but one hell of a learning experience.
