Day one of late buck report
« on: November 17, 2011, 07:14:12 PM »
and it wasn't too good.

Spent the day up in the Yacolt burn on the St. Helens tree farm with my 14 year old daughter on her first hunt. Weather was a Bluebird day for BT being very wet and windy, but didn't see a thing.  :dunno:
She was a trooper though, didn't complain once about the lack of deer and the abundance of rain and snow.
The worst day hunting is better than any day at work!

Which unit is your permit good for?
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

I HATE THAT PLACE. hunt the brush not the roads, if you go  be prepaired for traffic jambs .  :yike: :yike: good luck some will kill but most will just spend gas money.
