Whats everyone seeing?

More rut activity in late buck or were you guys seeing more activity last week of Oct?

I've been seeing more and more activity (rubs and buck tracks) the last two weeks, lots of fresh stuff everytime I get out.

Pretty much done here.  Last 2 weeks of Oct. seemed to be the best.

Pretty much done on the Island, saw one buck following a doe 3 days ago... most bucks have gone nocturnal here....

The buck we got yesterday was following a doe, but maybe just his momma.  His back legs were still a bit stinky.

I would say that the area I was in was pretty dry.  I saw alot more and heard of alot more action the last 3 days of October rather than late buck.  Buddy and I watched 10 does on one big hillside in different locations of it from about 500+ yards away for about 4 hrs and there was not a antler on the ridge.  I know where I will be the last week of October come next hunting season!

My brother got his buck Nov 18th chasing two does, it got away the first time without a shot but came out chasing them again two hours later but that time we was ready.  Got my buck Nov 20 same thing, following a doe across a open hillside.  Where i hunt there was way more late action then last year, last year was the exact opposite.
When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.
