I know I keep telling him that big blacktails are probably the hardest animals to hunt, and some never even get to be 4 pt"s. if they are a mature buck then i say take em.

What a cool experience! Those are two great bucks. Sometimes we try and measure the fun of the hunt by the size of the horns and it really comes down to the fun with the hunting buddies. Sounds like he had a great time.
