Sticking from freezing or sticking from the fig newton you just ate?
When really cold I have to break out the lanyards with only one hook and keep my calls hanging inside my jacket for warmth.... I also pre-warm my calls by blowing backwards thru them, seems to help for me... Sometimes I will bust my reed loose with a "tick" at the start of a call cadence...
