OMG!!  Are you sure you didn't set those cameras on a deer farm?  I'd be there every day of the season if they were on my cameras.

During the season he has only ever put himself in front of my camera once during legal shooting light. I was hunting a stand 300 yards away.

Saw that, but he's got to be somewhere....  If he's not where your camera is during dayligh, you might need to try some new spots.  Again, good luck!

Over the past two years I have had cameras everywhere...I get pics of him  most consistently where I have them now. He usually shows up within an hour of dark. I could push deeper into cover but I don't want to risk bumping him. I have already put in 9 days of hunting him. I have to work for 6 days and then I will be able to hunt from around Thanksgiving to season close.

They definitely are. Right now I am most concerned about snow depths pushing him out of the area. I hope it stops snowing soon.... a little melting would even be nice.

Here s a pic of my buck I am trying to get. Got a little history with him as well. He is six this year and needs to go on my wall. Just a big gnarley 4.

  Now I wish I had a picture of your buck to show you.  There aren't many bucks that I am able to hunt that others aren't pursuing. When they get that big people are going to notice. I only have one buck over 170 that nobody else is really pursuing.

That is a bruiser of a 4. Big main frame 4' are amongst my favorites.

He is definitely a once in a lifetime buck. I haven't killed anything yet.  I have passed up a few mature bucks already in hopes that he would show. He actually did show up once during daylight and I was hunting 300 yards to the south. I haven't had him on any of my cameras since 15 Nov. so that has me a little concerned. I don't think he has been killed but I just don't know if he is going to show again. The second larger buck I am after has not shown up during daylight on any of my cams since well before early season when we were watching him grow. However, he is still alive and well after the rifle season and nobody is archery hunting the area so he is safe until next season if he doesn't die of natural causes.

DB- last pic looks like the buck is blind in his left eye (no glow). had an 8 year old out at one of the farms i hunt that had survived 3 seasons like that from a major battle that i got to watch but was unfortunately wounded by a hunter during early bow season. i ended up finding him for the guy 3 days later..... the eye looked to be completely white with a ton of scar tissue on the eyelid.
