Wheat Country Roosters
« on: November 22, 2011, 04:01:37 PM »
Good weekend hunting the wheatfields north of I-90.  All wild birds. All public access with "written permission."  Lot of boot leather laid down - but there are birds out there.

That would be a Wirehair from Inverness kennels near Monroe.  9 years old, has not lost a step and is smarter every year.

MR5x5 nice job. Just wondering with all the birds put down how many got away (or how many are still out there for me   :chuckle: )?

Love the wirehairs. I have talked to Iverness kennels in the past, but she didn't have any pups in the time frame I was looking to buy one, so i ended up with a shorthair. Now had a wirehair for three years and she is a totally different dog.
