I solved the soup problem by wrapping all the drums together in cheese cloth. then once they have simmered long enough take them all out together and pick out the tendons and bone then throw the meat back into the pot. it will be interesting to hear what everyone else has to say.
roast the whole bird like cornish game hens , with spuds and carrots
I’ve tried soup; it’s good but it’s full of those long bones. Anyone have any good drumstick recipes?
Watching guys just "breast out" ducks and geese makes me sick. Total waste of wildlife in my opinion.
I really don't know how people can sleep at night knowing they took only the breast and wasted the rest. The breast is only half the meat on a bird. Atleast stew up the legs, thighs and organs and feed it to your dog!

Any part of the animal I leave in the field goes back into the cycle and is food for someone. Not everyone has a dog. But knowing that other critters will benefit and being conscious of the taking and giving life that is the predator prey relationship, in my opinion is a good way to be.
