The Close of a good year
« on: November 24, 2011, 03:04:34 PM »
Well the deer season is over for me and my hunting partner we had a good year. We both got our bucks out of a tough year didnt see the number of deer we are use to seeing in our area what we did see was a larger number of mule deer in a area that until last year we didnt see at all. I found one muley buck last year that someone lost to bad i found him to late or i would have put a tag on him so not to waste the meat. But back to this year my buddy shot is buck opening weekend on the south end of the canyon we hunt in buck came off stubble field and was heading for the bottom my buck was shot in late buck i drew the palouse tag on the north end of the canyon when we getting my meat out i seen a buck laying in his bed that made our bucks look small about 200 yards above were i shot mine hope he there next year here is a side by side of our bucks

A good year indeed, congrats on your success.
When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.
