New batch of blade blanks for sale or for custom build...

Got a good batch of D2 done last week! These are available to order a full one-off custom build on, or if you want to polish, sharpen, and try your own build, I'll sell these outright.

They're all ready to build, heat treated, tempered,  my D2 recipie usually runs about RC 63 +/-.

As blanks they'll sell for $45 each.

Customs will run from $125 and up.

Hope you can see the rulers above and below... 11-11-D2-2 is just over 9" overall, and 11-11-D2-3 is just under 6" overall.

Hey rainshadow,

Would it be possible to purchase a blank from you before heat treating? I want to try my hand at filing and don't want to file on hardened steel. I would then ship it back to you for hardening.  Let me know what you think.

Not a problem bigdave. Get with me on design and I'll get one done for you. Could even anneal one of these, but I'd rather start from scratch. Definately wouldn't want to file a hardened one, I've tried that, good way to ruin equipment, just take my word for it!

I'll send you a PM huntmando... the possibilities on grip material and build are nearly unlimited.... from plain one piece micarta, to elephant ivory laminated with solid gold. If it'll hold together, I'll grip a knife with it! (Your budget depending!)
