I may be wrong but wasn't there a shed on here that could be from him  :dunno:

Great buck!

Just for the heck of it...did the bullet enter on the deer's right side, and exit on it's left?

Went in the left side, came out the right. You can barely see the blood where it came out just in front of his shoulder.

Ok, I looked at the pic.  So the bullet went in on the left side (looking at the picture) and exited on the right (by the spot of blood in the snow)?  Basically the bullet exited on the same side that the tongue is hanging out of, right?

I only ask this because one time my dad, myself, and two friends were sitting around the campfire and a buddy said "hey you shot your deer when it was facing to the left, huh"?   I said "how the hell do you know that"?   Well, he then proceeds to tell us that most of the time the tongue will be hanging out the side of the mouth where the bullet exited.  We looked at all the bucks in camp and every one of them proved his theory correct...  Since then I have checked all my deer, and not one has went against his "theory". :dunno:

That's weird. I cut all my tongues out but was lucky enough to be around a camp this year where no one ate tongue (best part and thank you much!!! - what's that?? You don't want the heart either?? Thank you much!!!) and they were all like that. I'm going to have to watch that. Very cool.

KILLER BUCK man.
