Bad weather
« on: December 01, 2011, 09:19:55 AM »
Man I'm really getting sick of the sunny weather!  All I see in the forecast is more sun.  How are we supposed to experience the best waterfowl year since 1955 if we don't have the weather to push them down?!!!

We need it to freeze

I have had good shoots on cold clear days before. Like 270 said, we just need it to get cold up north and have it just cold enough here to freeze but not so cold that they flight right by...  :IBCOOL:

First light early morning fog could lead to some rewarding shooting...

If it freezes it will concentrate them more so we can kill them well, but there will still be plenty of open water and fee to keep them around.

I did a little Duck hunting prior to coming down here to florida. I am dying to get back there and see some cold weather and get on the birds.
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

exactly, I like it when the big water freezes up and just leaves little pockets open and the rivers. Its game on then!

I got to duck hunt the day after modern elk. Got my limit and the next morning drove 3000 miles to florida.  And I now have a new dog that came with the new wife. 5 year old Golden lab male. Oh and he loves to hunt..........
