Truly amazing just how fast those wolves are.
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

Another sport kill...

This is certainly not a sport kill, It is a domination kill. Wolves will chase out or kill off any predator that presents a threat to it's food source. It's a food chain thing, wolves are at the top, coyotes are way down the list and will likely not survive an attack from a much larger animal of two to three times it's size, not to mention having to deal with a pack of wolves.

In areas where there are wolves and coyotes, the coyote population will be reduced dramatically.

Not a sport kill.   This footage is from a National Geographic special on Yellowstone.  I've seen it on PBS several times.   That pack had driven another out of the valley and taken a Bison sometime after.  They chased those coyotes off several times before going for the kill.  They were eventually wiped out by distemper and the previous pack moved back in.   The original pack caught a coyote on their fresh kill and didn't let it take 4 steps away before tearing in into pieces.

Depending on what research you read, 50% to 80% of the coyotes in Yellowstone are gone.  How does that effect the system?  Replacing mousers with pack hunters would seem to have much more effect than anyone has considered.
