Nice bull regardless and I to agree with hunting hard for your harvest.  I'm pretty sure that's a Colockum Bull! :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:  Maybe a Blues. :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Funny thing about this elk being a Mossback bull... I was told a story in September about some Mossback guys blocking roads in the Blues because a big bull was in the area and one of there clients was following it. Never heard anything else about it and never asked around because I didnt think Mossback had any interest in Washington elk... Heard they just parked right in the road and wouldnt move... :dunno:

Wow.  It's been said on here already, but man...that Colockum area sure does produce some nice elk...

The bull they were after had broken his main beam about midway..... This was their "second choice" bull..... Crazy isn't it. Looks real similar to the one Agnew shot a couple of years ago.  :yike:

I was thinking the same thing.  I am pretty sure this bull was taken off the same mountain.

Good for him. That's what's great about this country. Maybe someday I will be in his position. In the meantime I will keep busting my a$$ to excel.

beautiful bull!

wondering what an outfit like mossback offers a hunter?  just more eyes?  i can't see them calling this bull in, if it was a recent kill, and locals will usually gladly put you on a great bull when you draw a tag.

Imagine 10 guys working full time across a large area to locate a certain bull and keep tabs on him. It's actually kind of sad. Lol

Great bull sounds like the hunter worked hard.good job i would buy that tag in a second if i could. i would just have to fit it around my henry mts deer tag. i say lay off he is hunting a fair chase bull on public ground and fish and game needs the funds badly, even know F&W probably does somthing stupid with the money.
