It's actually kind of sad. LolActually what's really quite sad slim is ignorant, speculated, comments like this that keep these guys from joining sites and sharing pics and stories of their hunts.

Well, considering I talked with two of the Mossback staff when they were in Lacey, what did I say that was ignorant or incorrect? I asked the guys how they consistently get their hunters the biggest bulls since I was curious. Was he lying? Or are you just butt-hurt that I think it's "sad." Am I not entitled to my opinion? I never said it should be illegal or even that it was wrong. Did you miss the lol? Go back and read my posts. I expressed my sincere congratulations to the hunter and even "stood up" for his ability to purchase the Governer's tag.I think it may actually be people like you that keep people from joining and contributing to sites likes these. Nothing like stifling people's opinions and calling names. Get a life.
he probobly spent more on that bull hunt ,then most people on here make in a year.working there ass off.

Get your facts strait before spewing BS rumors.
wondering what an outfit like mossback offers a hunter? just more eyes? i can't see them calling this bull in, if it was a recent kill, and locals will usually gladly put you on a great bull when you draw a tag.

Get your facts strait before spewing BS rumors.Look buddy. I think you are confused. I never said that this hunter had 10 Mossback guys scouting / helping on his hunt. I know nothing about this specific hunt. I was actually referring specifically to the Spider bull and Mossback's involvement with it. Are you going to say that there weren't multiple Mossback guys keeping track of that bull and locating him for their hunter? The guy I responded to asked a GENERAL question about the advantages of an outfit like Mossback and that's what I was referring to. It may not be the norm for them but they are famous (or infamous depending on how you look at it) for doing it and they have the manpower to do things like that if you pay them to. Is it clear now? None of this was directed at the guy who killed this bull or his hunt. This is what was asked.Quote from: 724wd on November 29, 2011, 10:01:39 AMwondering what an outfit like mossback offers a hunter? just more eyes? i can't see them calling this bull in, if it was a recent kill, and locals will usually gladly put you on a great bull when you draw a tag.

It very much looks like you were also referring to this hunt, resulting in my comment. If you were referring to a different hunt and a different thread then perhaps it would be wise to clarify so as not to inadvertently mislead anyone that may be reading about this particular hunt.
wondering what an outfit like mossback offers a hunter? just more eyes?
the main question he posed was a general one. When he says "a hunter," he means in general, what do they offer their clients or at least that's how it came across. Not specifically this guy in WA. Is it that hard to interpret? Maybe we read it differently. IDK.
