Washington general season mulie.
« on: November 28, 2011, 08:21:04 PM »
Well after stricking out in Montana, thought I would post about our Washington hunt.

The season looked promising with the snow that fell on Friday morning but we all know it didnt last.

Only 4 of us in camp this year as the others were saving the vacation for Montana. We only got the one deer and missed out on a couple others were things just didnt come together right.

Here is the 4 point my brother connected on opening evening. I have told him to come on here and tell the story. Long shot and longer pack out.

The 4 of us packing it out the next morning. Not so bad getting a deer out with 4 of us!

That was good times!  We will get my monster next year   What jj didn't mention is we packed that stupid thing out up these steep ass ridge lines, only to find out later we could have crested over the top of the first hill and walked the road out in less than half the time.  Still a fun time.  Can't wait for next year!  Sorry you guys got skunked in MT.

Well Montana was a total bust! 0-5!! last two years we went 7-7 and 6-7 and this year we went 0-5! Its like some one just herded up all the bucks and took them somewhere else! We were on the south side of the Breaks. Still had a great time though!

Congrats on the one big guy. Better than my party did.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!
