late archery elk success? anyone?
« on: November 29, 2011, 12:04:09 PM »
Not seeing much going on.  I was supposed to head out to Rimrock but work is not allowing me as of yet.  I am hoping to get out of here on Friday.  Is anyone seeing anything?

None for me. Didn't even see an elk last weekend.

One of my buddies was supposed to be back from RR today.  I haven't heard from him or how he did yet.  Hopefully, he is still packing out meat!

Went out this morning to try and get my dad an elk with his bow.  Seen two legal bulls right off the road.  Tracked em into a little crick bottom only to track them back up to the road my truck was parked on in which they continued to walk down for a ways before going back into the very same crick bottom we had previously went into.  The mouse won this round but tomorrow is a new day!
