WOW, dandy buck, congrats to the hunter.  Anyone should be pleased with that!
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

Anybody got a gross score on him yet?  I'm guessing 187"...? :dunno:

I came up with roughly 178 gross.

mains - 21 and 23
g1's  - 2 and 1 4/8
g2's  - 16 and 17
g3's  - 14 and 8
g4's  - 8 and 10

37" of mass and 21" inside spread = 178 5/8 :twocents:

 Nice buck for sure.

Outstanding buck.  He probably would have shot a bigger one if he had worn Open Country Optifade instead of the Forest.....

pathfinder is
Yes, I am.  But I guessed my score in even numbers (no 8ths).  And just for the record, as Phool said, antlers are always scored in 8ths (1/8, 2/8, 3/8 etc...).

And by the way, in MY class you would have learned that.  I don't teach math.  I teach Rifle Marksmanship and Hunter Education.  My advanced students actually DO learn to score antlers.  Next time I teach that subject I'll invite you to come sit in on the class.  No promises, but I might even be able to teach you to count in 8ths.... :chuckle:

Alright. I will go measure this great buck, and give the exact measurements to end all discussion. At least we are all in agreement that this was a well deserved hard earned trophy.....especially with the lack of weather this year.
