Their tails get up to 6 feet!!! :yike:  Would love to see the Sandy dog retreive one like that.  That'd be a picture to remember.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

If you raise 'em I'll help you shoot 'em.  And eat 'em!

LOL, yeah I might need help shooting them, last time I raised birds released them and didn't have the heart to shoot them. I thought maybe they'd have a chance at making it. So yea I'd rather you help me eat them rather than the coyotes, hawks and owls getting fat off them .

I bought a few reeves roosters from a guy out of Walla Walla a few years back. He was raising about 400 a year for release in the dayton/blues area. I got a couple real nice roosters...you can really get good ones when you are looking at 50-75 to choose from. I bet it was the same guy you dealt with Bone. He said he remembered hunting them as a kid when the GAME Dept. released a bunch, liked it so much he was trying it again.

  He took the creme of my crop.   Some damn good Reeves genetics.   I think he was working on releasing mountain quail down there too.  Its been awhile since I have talked to him.  Real nice guy.
