Rick have you ever tried to put a mega phone on your howlers?

Dale do you mean cow or buffalo horns. I make a social springbok howler. My toneboard the Yellerdog YDD2 is one of the smoothest and realistic out there. Rick

I'm not sure, I see some howlers have cow horns and some have a metal looking mega phones, I assume either is to make them louder. What is your opinion, is that beneficial?

These two call's do very realistic  Howler's they are plenty loud enough for eastern or western washington. Buffalo or a thicker cow horn makes good howl's. The scerry megaphone howler some time sounds plastic light. Diaphragms are very realistic and can be louder with a cowgirl megaphone. Rick
