I love to see pics like this! Being able to see a buck from one year to the next is great! It really helps a guy learn about age and horns as well

More comparison of angle.   By the way.  He was 200 yards from where I filmed him last year.  He had two other younger but mature bucks pestering the hell out of him.   He had two hot does.  He ended up on one and I got within 10 feet him and her kinda by accident, and he just didn't care.

Funny he's got that same ornery look to him.  Could probably tell he was the same buck by the look on his face.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

How often do you see the same buck year after year?  Elk Hunting is my passion but chasin the  big muley's is a close second.. That is a doozy in my book.. I havent commented on your photo's as much as most but your pictures just get me jacked up everytime.. Good Work, and there is nothing more stupid then a rutted up muley.. I had a late tag this year and it was literally like hunting in a zoo.. I would love to live in Mule deer country to photo/film the rut every year..

thanks!  This year wasn't that good.   I found a couple but many of last years were missing.   Most that I did find were within yards of where they have been in the past.   This buck wasn't stupified.  It will sound stupid, but was like he knew I wasn't going to hurt him.   He was very relaxed around me.  I got some really good photos of him bedded.
