I'm Sure D.O's Picture is else where on the web, probably wearing a cowboy hat and a lot less clothing. I can remove the pic if you want lol.

There are no more deer in Wyoming. :chuckle: Unless of course, you go and hunt them. My buck is the biggest I saw, but I did see 160 type bucks nearly everyday. After I got mine, I was with one of the other guys, and he missed a good 170 type buck.  That place gets smoking hot the last few days of the season. I don't really think migration, generally, is a weather/rut type of thing.  :dunno: I think its all timing. I think the deer have some sort of internal clock that tells them that the rut is coming on soon and the snow is going to get deep, so get your asses down off this mountain! Not many of the bucks were really rutting, and there wasn't a ton of snow up there, and there were new bucks comign through that drainage daily. Oh yea, this is a second choice, general region deer tag. We can hunt here every year and still build our points. For what, I don't know. I'd rather hunt this spot than any other i've been to in Wyoming.

Very nice buck, ESPECIALLY for a general season tag. Sounds like a great hunt and a good time, congrats.
