Yea. Suck. Went out today and they are all in the VERY thick bedded down. So while waiting they came out just after it was way too dark.

All the deer I have been seeing are out in the open between noon and 2.
Totally still and quite this evening and not a critter in the woods.

Took the Hoyt for a short walk today while checking trail cams..nada!

I was down SW WA elk hunting last 3 days. Decent weather for elk hunting but has to be terrible for BT's. The elk were in the cuts til 10am yesterday and today I spotted them both days while I was in the timber, thought there was no chance to catch them in the open on their feet that far into tue day. Saw a foe with two big fawns in a cut today around 10am.
Heading for a first light sit tomorrow am at the X stand so we shall see.
If the spike shows tomorrow it's game on.
