Very nice Slider, *censored* o dear your taxidermy bill is going to be like a small country's annual budget :chuckle: but I'm still envious.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or destroy it, piss on it and walk away!

I've noticed our 40D's are good to iso 400, and they get a tad noisy at 800.  I don't know if you have found the same.  That being said, iso 800 noise is much better than film of iso 400 so we are ahead of the curve.  I have heard good things about a photoshop plugin called, "noise ninja" and plan on trying it out soon.  I'll let you know how it works out because I'm shooting quite often at 800 or higher...

Great picture of a Blesbuck.  Would've loved to have had you over there to get some good shots for me.  You'd have had a hey-day in the Kalahari.....

Nice One!!! I didn't shoot one and really didn't want to? But the longer I was there the more I wanted to. Next time if I get within 40 yards of one they better watch out!!!  :chuckle:
