I'm going out on limb here... a very thin a non-PC limb, but the way I see it, if natives get to hunt the given seasons that they do, they should have to use traditional native american hunting equipment.   The white man gave you automobiles, fair enough.  We gave you firearms, you lost.  I would love to see a native stalk withing traditional archery range of an buck, let alone the BRUISERS they've been posting using the so HATED WHITEMAN technology...  Funny thing is, the whitemant is becoming the better hunter because we have to take time off of work to scout, and then take additional time off just to hunt.

funny thing is you have no idea what your talking about. see the bruiser on my profile. archery. national forest. so there goes your theroy of the lazy native. but im sure you ll have an excuse of how easy it was to take that buck. i dont hate technology. and im sure none of the tribal members on here do either. hence the computer we are using to constantly have to defend ourselves instead of just being able to talk about hunting and look at some nice pics

Not going to go down that road. As long as tribal hunting is done in a ethical manner I don't care how it's done. And like someone said before, there's bad apples on both sides. My only issue is the seasons they get. Or lack there of. People hunting in premium areas year after year that takes someone like me a decade to draw. But like I said before, it is what it is and I just have to deal with it. But that doesn't mean I have to like it. I still don't think it's right. And until the playing field is leveled across the board for everyone, you will not convince me otherwise. Nothing directed personally at any of the NA's on this site. From what I've seen you are all good guys and ethical hunters. I'm unhappy with the system in place, not to people.

no biggy. its just sad that with all that goes on with this forum that a tribal member has to defend his hunting after he posts pics of a nice animal hes taken. we cant even show pics of our hunts without some type of negativity.

 :yeah:

I wish you guys would post more pics as I love seeing pics of harvests.  No matter how big or small.  Especially the stories that go with it. But I can understand why many of you don't post because it often turns into a  :crap:  show and you have to defend what you did.  I think Coastal is the only one that posts pictures and stories.  I wish Plateau would post a picture of his bull but I understand why he wont (He shot it at Northwest Trek  :chuckle:  )  Yes there are things that need to change, but why attack a guy that has killed an animal legally just because he is an Indian?  Remember that its his legal right to do so.  Blame the WDFW if you want to blame someone.  :twocents:

But then again it seems we bash each other too.  Oh where's the hunter orange, or oh it was a 70yds shot with a bow, or a 600yd shot with a rifle etc etc etc.  Can't someone post a picture of an animal with a story without getting beat up.   :dunno:

Hairtrigger that is an awesome buck and a really good picture.  Do you have any pictures of your ram?
