Good things are happening when a buck this size is the odd man out for breeding.....

Boy, I would think he'd get a little piece... that is a NICE buck...and he's no youngen...great mass.

He's one of the two "small" bucks that wanted one of the two does that were hot with the last year...this year buck.

Here is the other buck that was out of luck.  He was being more of a pest and I really thought I might see them tangle.

As always great photos.  Man is it nice to see so many big deer this year on the hoof and trying to spread those genes.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.
