Looking to buy Tikka T3 Lite .308 !

If you are buying a light rifle, the difference is in ounces.  With a Tikka all receivers are long action and have long action weight.  That is the main difference, a few ounces of additional steel.

It was at Wholesale Sports. They had 30 bucks cash off and a in store gift card for $100 making the total price down from $529 to $399. I figure I can use the gift card for reloading supplies or when I get my XMas gift cards I might be able to put it all towards another scope.

Thanks for that! I would like to shoot one in 300wm to see if that is more recoil than I want to deal with in such a light rifle before buying, I have a t3 in 270 and love it.

If you're not in a hurry, find the best price and wait a month or so to get one. I've bought 2 guns from lowprice and they beat everybody. Just a thought.
