There is nothing in the regs that specifies that you cant have a light mounted to your shotgun while hunting waterfowl. Now the big game regs specify that the use of artificial light is illegal, remember there are separate regs for waterfowl and they do not mention the use of artificial light or the use of electronic equipment outside of electronic calls / decoys which are illegal.

From wdfw waterfowl regs.
Hunting Restrictions
IT IS UNLAWFUL TO:
• Place waterfowl decoys prior to 4:00 a.m.;
allow or permit waterfowl decoys to be
unattended or not in your immediate control
for a period greater than one hour; or fail to
remove waterfowl decoys within two hours
after the close of established daily hunting
hours on days open to waterfowl hunting
on department owned or controlled lands,
waters, or access areas.
• Place waterfowl decoys on lands or waters
controlled by WDFW except as authorized
by permit of the director, on days closed to
waterfowl hunting on department owned or
controlled lands, waters, or access areas.
• Hunt waterfowl or wild turkeys using live
birds as decoys.
• Hunt waterfowl, turkey, or deer with the use
or aid of battery-powered or other electronic
devices as decoys.
• Hunt waterfowl, turkey, or deer with the use
or aid of electronic calls.

From page 13 Waterfowl Regs, WA --

Decoy Restrictions
It is unlawful to hunt waterfowl with the
use or aid of battery powered or other
electronic devices as decoys.  My emphasis

Gotta love it when someone jacks their jaw with no facts to base it upon! Apparently skagit hunter is the only one here that needs to read the regs! Because everyone else already has! Funny how he hasn't posted since the facts have been! Everyone PLEASE if you don't know what your talking about when it comes to legal issues please refrain from posting your opinion of the legality! It could misguide someone and get them in trouble! Still everyone needs to read the regs for themselves. :twocents:
What would life be without the thrill of the hunt?

Nothing grey about it.  100% legal.  Something I wouldn't even question.  Just a camera without a flash.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
