Traditions NW Magnum???
« on: December 03, 2011, 01:29:48 PM »
Does anyone own one of these and if so what do you think of it? I have been pondering buying one , but would like to hear from someone who has used one for a while. Thanks in advance

Alot of people have had problems misfires, I have the newer version with the musketcap and love it. I have taken a buck and a bull with it this year and shot it close to 200 times. I have never had a problem with it and would highly recommend it to a fellow hunter.

If you do a search on here there is like 10 threads about that gun. 80% of the people that I know on here that have owned or shot them have had problems with them. I bought one and had it go off sitting in my less sled without me even touching the trigger or safety. Scared the crap out of me and could have been fatal. A lot if people have had to get new parts to even make them shoot. When a gun won't even fire, then to me its the biggest chunk of garbage out there. Plus dangerous! I would not ever buy one of there guns again and never let my family and friends own one after what happened with mine, or so many others.

Any muzzeloader can do that, shouldn't have had a cap on until you were off your sled.

Your post makes no sense. It was in the sled capped, that is where it gets shot from. Why would I cap it when I am off of my sled not ready to shoot? that would not make any sense. I cap it when I am ready to shoot it, when it is in my sled. That is where it went off after I put my cap on it, as I was setting the capper down. You can keep your junk  The other 4 brands that I have owned have never had any problems. Funny when there is tons of people out there having the same problems  Good luck with your gun

The amount of problems posted on here is the very reason I ordered a Knight DISC Extreme.
