I've seen the ad on tv and they brag that it's "just a better gun" but I don't know. I do know that I sure like my Encore a whole bunch. I don't know what kind of caliber selection CVA has but I know T/C has a pretty wide variety of them plus a couple different barrel lenghts. Don't want anything too heavy for her to be packin around. Don't want anything too light either as far as recoil goes. I'd hit Cabela's or Sportsmans Whorehouse/Wholesale Sports to check em out. Good luck.
