O.k ...Are we talking coyotes that have been called in or everything goes except road kills ....The guys on the eastside have a little advantage over us guys on the westside ..there is so much area over there they can drive around all day and kill coyotes .... just asking because I have only counted ones I have called in but I am not opposed to drive bys as long as I know what everyone else is doing  :dunno:

There are lots of kids over here that think that driving the roads and shooting at them from the truck is the only way to hunt dogs but VarmintVentilator and I get out and walk our azz's off trying to let the air out of these things. We do a lot of calling with E-callers and mouth callers both. I've had friends come over to hunt dogs and when they find out we actually do a ton of walking they are flat wore out when they go home. We'll be hitting it tomorrow at 6am and I can guarentee we won't be shooting' from the truck and it's gonna to be fricken cold out there.
Checkin' wind and makin' smoke.
That's how I roll...

No shooting from the truck?     :yike:    Dang, now I have to find my mittens and bunny cap.   I think my wife gave them to my dog to wear.    :chuckle:

Bone or Tbrd,
I think starting a new thread might be worth while to save 20+ pages of nadda.  Better lock this one up to stop people from posting dog pics here in a few hours.
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Bone and Gringo are right, it will make it simple if we start out with a new topic and everyone posts there photos there. I will post up a new topic that starts out clean.

To clarify a few things:

FYI -  The rules will clearly state: Coyotes may be taken by any legal means.. I think that is the easiest way to avoid lots of discussions about what each person thinks is "fair chase or ethical" coyote hunting.

Shooting from truck. - To clarify, no coyotes may be shot from inside a vehicle, you may not be in or on a vehicle when shooting while hunting in Washington.

9.  Photo of kill with at least one team member must to be submitted for points to be awarded. (or a card with team name shown in photo) Photos should be in as good of taste as possible, with the nastiest side of the coyote towards the ground. Any photo judged to be of poorer taste than necessary will be disqualified.
