What a great experience. Thanks for sharing. Love the camp setup----I can see how that makes it seem more like a great hunting adventure. kinda like a backcountry dropcamp.

Nice bull, congratulations. Nice looking camp, and hunting with friends and filling your tag = good memories and good eats. Way to go.

understand about feeling more "adventure" when hunting from a tent, feel the same way about RV's as you describe. Congrats on your bull, very nice!

Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.

Congrats on the bull did you hunt with Joe for that bull?  I know he was hunting with a fellow who tagged a Selkirk bull as well.  As for the stove I have the same one for my 12x20 alaknak tent it works great if you stoke it down it will burn about 3 hrs when crammed with logs.  As for the stack try some sheetmetal screws in each section, or some of that foil tape.  We hunt in a very windy area, and we had issues with the stack until I used the screws now I dont worry about it at all.

Did not hunt with Joe, the one Joe hunted with decided to wait until there was 3 feet of snow on the ground. Pretty sure the one that was hunting with Joe, got one just a wee bit bigger than that one.

Im still patiently awaiting pictures, and the write up.  The story sounded similar, oh yeah! you never called me back after you lost reception the other day you can make it up to me with some of that fine Texas pork you are going to be bringing back.
